Ever since Spider-Man's arrival in Marvel's Avengers was announced, fans have wondered what his costume would be. After showing the design that sits somewhere in the middle of each Spider suit in the showcase trailer, players began to wonder what suits would be available for the webhead. In a new developer blog, Crystal Dynamics has detailed the six Spider-Man costumes and their inspirations. The first outfit worn was a classic suit, inspired by some of Spider-Man's early appearances and, in particular, by Steve Ditko's designs, with a statement from Crystal Dynamics: "Steve Ditko is the main motivator for the design of this suit. ".

The next costume shown is the iconic costume, which is her default costume in Marvel's Avengers. The purpose of this costume is to show that Spider-Man gained more resources after meeting the Avengers and that his costume has been updated. According to Crystal Dynamics: "We have added elements to our iconic version that showcase Peter Parker's scientific and engineering talents."

The Bugle Boy is the next suit featured on the blog and is the original suit created by Crystal Dynamics. Basically, this is his take on a minimalist outfit as it's just Peter Parker dressed as the Daily Bugle with a Spider-Man mask. This is one of the coolest outfits in the collection that Avengers players will strive for.

The following costumes that Crystal Dynamics have shared on the blog are the ones we've already seen in other Spider-Man games, but with a new spin including the Spider-Armor Mark One and Mark Three, the Secret Wars costume and noir costume looks much prettier. Then we've seen in recent Spider-Man games. The first thing that kicked off the live broadcast was just a detailed look at the classic red and blue dress.

Community manager Andy Wong said the material was more durable to "fit more into the Marvel's Avengers universe," comparing the fabric to sharkskin. The team also drew inspiration from Spider-Man by cartoonist John Romita Sr. with large eye frames. He said that the spider logo on his chest also has tactile feedback, so his "Spidey-Sense can be improved", but it's unclear what this means, and if this refers to the tactile feedback on the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. Additionally, Crystal Dynamics also showcased a classic outfit designed by Steve Ditko, a design that is instantly recognizable.

It uses "durable, hand-made" materials. It's simple, but probably what a lot of fans want to see.

The 1993 Spider-Armor MK I was the third suit. It's a reflective skin, but the team didn't talk about ray tracing because the game doesn't support it. It is also called "the clothing of the ends of the earth." Wong said it is in high demand.
