The Xbox Series X has been updated with a new 4K dashboard, Xbox Night mode, and Quick Settings. This update will add the ability to turn on or off your console from outside of your home screen. In addition, the Xbox Series X dashboard has been given a much-needed facelift in terms of design so that it is more intuitive for gamers. The Quick Settings menu allows you to change settings while playing a game without having to go back to the main menu. Finally, this update adds an automatic night mode that reduces blue light emissions during night hours while still providing rich blacks and vibrant colors while gaming in a dark room.

A couple of months ago, Microsoft began testing a native 4K dashboard for the Xbox Series X, but the upgrade was restricted to Xbox Insiders in the Alpha and Alpha Skip-Ahead rings. This week, Microsoft has rolled out a complete upgrade for Xbox Series X consoles and added some new features that increase the usefulness of the console.

We've been waiting a long time for this. The last time Microsoft updated the console user interface was over ten years ago. With the newest Xbox X update, the experience has been dramatically enhanced over the original 360 interfaces. The latest update is currently available, and Microsoft is still working on more features to come soon. The new dashboard appears to be well worth the wait from what we have seen so far.

A new dashboard provides a better user interface, navigation, access to games and apps, and a better viewing experience on the display. This new dashboard for Xbox Series X consoles is excited about by many people because it is modern and feels less outdated than previous ones.

We are now able to download the software update. With the introduction of a new native 4K dash, 4K TVs now offer crisper menus (the previous display was in 1080p). So, in the future, your 4K TV will have a much crisper display.

In addition, you are likely to notice native 4K content on the Home screen, My Games & Apps, Guide, and other places. There will be more crispness and legibility in the artwork and buttons on the screens of video games.

We also had an issue with the Xbox X's menu experience, which is a lot like the one found on the Xbox One in many ways. Even though this is not entirely a solution to the issue, it may set the new console apart from its predecessors (You can see the following comparison between 4K "top view" and SD "bottom view").

As part of the update, there are also new features. It now lets you change the brightness of the screen and the LEDs on the controller, and the power button to accommodate your preference. A spokesperson for Microsoft said the new feature is designed to appeal to videogame fans who want to play their favorite games in total darkness as if they were watching a movie in a theater.

If you play video games late at night, a blue light filter for your display can be customized to keep your eyes healthy. This feature is only available for Xbox series X and S consoles. Navigate to the Settings menu, then select Accessibility, then Night mode, then Settings, then TV & display options. After that, the Night mode will be enabled for you.

In addition to the new firmware, one of the features included in it is the possibility of customizing the Quick Settings menu. Quick Settings allows you to toggle features on and off without having to dig through endless menus. This is handy if you share your console with someone who has a different setup from you.
